Job Description
Since 1957 Vacudyne has designed, built and installed vacuum process equipment in over 63 countries around the world for industries as wide ranging as medical device, agriculture, defense, NASA, electric power transmission and many others. More recently the evolution of our products has focused on the information age and becoming part of an interconnected world, as demonstrated with equipment that features intuitive touch screen interfaces, IIT (industrial internet of things), data acquisition, data trending, predictive maintenance, and mobile connectivity.

As a Vacudyne sales engineer, reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will leverage our industry leading innovations to grow the business in our core market segments such as electric power generation, electric power transmission, and industrial hydraulics. The candidate will also be tasked with developing new markets where our processes can be applied or where analogous processes can be developed to meet the needs of those new markets.

Job Functions

  • Identify and call on key decision makers in existing and target markets
  • Act as a liaison between customers and engineers on a wide range of technical issues; must be technically literate
  • Maintain timely and detailed records on all past, current and prospective business
  • Proficient at using the internet as a resource, will be expected to contribute to internet marketing and internal search engine optimization efforts
  • Prepare quotes and technical proposals as required for a wide variety of customers and markets
  • Requires occasional travel to customers and/or as a representative at trade shows



  • Engineering or technical degree required
  • 3-5 years sales experience in related area
  • Superior communication skills
  • Detail oriented and extremely well organized
  • Highly computer proficient
