Global Partnership
For over 40 years Vacudyne, Inc. has been a global partner with the agricultural industry, archival institutions and museums in solving their fumigation and preservation needs. The Vacufume fumigation system has been used for spices, nuts, agricultural products and to preserver books, documents, artifacts, fabric and other porous materials.

Versatility
The Vacufume fumigates precious articles under vacuum killing mold, fungus, eggs, larvae, insects and other damaging substances. Vacufume fumigators are also used for fumigation of agricultural products and some foodstuffs. Vacudyne designs and manufactures fumigation systems from 18 to 2,750 cubic feet. They are designed for safe easy automatic operation. Vacufume fumigators operate with, Vikane®, Methyl Bromide, Ethylene Oxide, or with inert gasses such as Nitrogen, Argon, Carbon Dioxide.

    Ease of Operation
During a fumigation process the product is placed inside the chamber. The door is then closed and properly sealed. Through an auto-mated control system the chamber is brought under vacuum and the fumigant is released into the chamber. Due to lack of air, the fumigant penetrates the product being treated thus killing any live infestation. After a pre-determined exposure period the fumigating gas is evacuated from the chamber through an air wash process. This process removes the fumigant from the chamber and the product thus completing the cycle.
