Sterilizers

Overview

Since 1957, Vacudyne has been the leader in design and manufacturing of Industrial Gas Sterilizers. With hundreds of installations throughout the world, Vaudyne's full line of standard and custom sterilizers are recognized as the standard of excellence for the medical device industry.

The use of ethylene oxide as a sterilant in the reduction or elimination of bacteria, mold spores, and fungus is widely known. Ethylene oxide is highly diffusive and can permeate many materials. It is possible to sterilize heat and moisture sensitive products sealed in packaging and even in shipping cartons.

Vacudyne sterilizers are the finest technology can produce. Utilizing decades of experience, Vacudyne engineers will design a system to your special requirements. A Vacudyne sterilization system gives you the flexibility to tailor the cycle parameters to your particular needs.

BIER and Research Vessels

Vacudyne® BIER vessels (Biological Indicator Evaluation Resistometer) and researach vessels are designed to evaluate the resistance of microbial populations to sterilization by precisely controlling the critical parameters, pressure, temperature, humidity, and sterilant in a computer controlled chamber. These vessels are also used for testing packaging integrity and sterilant cycle development.

Applications

  • Medical devices
  • Package testing integrity
  • Sterilant cycle development
